Celtic, I Think?

This is a wall hanging that a quilted for a client.  She didn't tell me the name of the pattern.  But I think it looks kind of Celtic.  What do you think?

I quilted it pretty densely and couldn't resist crawling under the machine to take a peek.  Why is it that we do that?  If you have a longarm machine don't even pretend that you don't do this.  I've seen your pictures.

Then this is a view of the back once it was completed.  Jo!  You did a great job piecing/appliqueing this. It was small but very beautiful.

That is about all I have for you today...Except to say that this was pretty much the last small thing that I have quilted in a while.  My clients have been on a giant quilt snag and I haven't loaded up anything much less than 108 x 108 in about ... forever.  Tomorrow I will show you the latest Amazon to grace my studio.

  1. looks great! can't wait to see what you're going to share tomorrow.

I'm moving to a house we actually own in Murfreesboro, TN and I will have a whole garage to turn into my studio! Hubby is already on board with insulating it, adding an ac/heating unit, and taking out the garage door and framing in a wall of windows.

  3. Yep, I'd say it's Celtic. :) You did a really nice scheme for it, too. Love the shot from underneath with the light filtering through the quilt.
